From the CEOs of Toronto Central CCAC and Toronto Central LHIN

On December 7, the Patients First Act (Bill 41) passed its Third and Final Reading.

This legislation would allow the Toronto Central LHIN and Toronto Central CCAC to become one organization. Our number one goal through transition and into a new organization is to continue delivering excellent care.

Both of us are proud of our organizations and have tremendous respect for the other. We are confident that our organizations will show positive leadership as we work together to create an expanded LHIN that builds on the successes and strengths of both the Toronto Central LHIN and CCAC.

Our organizations already have a long history of successful collaboration and, as we embark on this important and exciting journey together, we are united by a shared commitment to making a difference for patients and their families.  As a new and much stronger organization, we look forward to delivering even more integrated and responsive care to those we serve.
