The Toronto Central LHIN is a strong proponent of eHealth’s potential to improve health services.  In this section you will find reports and publications related to our eHealth intiatives. 

Joint eHealth Strategy

The Toronto Central LHIN is using health information technology (also known as eHealth technologies) to build a safer, more accessible and high performing local health care system. In addition to collaboration among the LHINs covering the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the Toronto Central and Central LHINs have developed a joint eHealth strategy to support eHealth initiatives in their local areas. The partnership was generated in acknowledgement of common priorities and objectives, as well as the strong referral relationships between the two LHINs.

The LHINs encourage health service providers to become familiar with the Joint eHealth Strategy when contemplating local eHealth initiatives.
